Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, is eagerly anticipating Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho. With Victor Osimhen absent, Boniface is poised to play a significant role for the Super Eagles. The 22-year-old has been delivering outstanding performances for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen this season.

Having scored seven goals and provided five assists in 11 league appearances for Die Werkself, Boniface is determined to translate his club form to the international stage. Boniface stated, “I’m ready and focused; we are determined, so we will see what happens. Paris Saint-Germain’s captain, Kylian Mbappe, expressed dissatisfaction with Newcastle United following their 1-1 draw in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night in Paris. We knew it was their game to have nothing, but we had to finish our chances better. We had too many chances for a Champions League match. It’s not the structure or the organisation; it’s us, the players. We need to be much more diligent in front of goal.”
