Barca Confirm €250m Offer For Lamine Yamal

Barcelona’s director, Deco, has confirmed that French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made an attempt to sign rising star Lamine Yamal last season. According to Deco, PSG approached the club with an offer shortly after Yamal played a key role in Spain’s victory at the European Championship.

Speaking to RAC1, Deco—who previously played for both Barcelona and Chelsea—addressed the speculation, saying the rumors about PSG’s interest were indeed true.

“PSG made an approach last season, not this one. But our intention is for Yamal to remain at the club. We’re not entertaining any offers. PSG inquired, but Real Madrid did not,” he said.

Deco emphasized that Barcelona has turned down all proposals for the 17-year-old forward and has no plans to let him go at any price.

This season, Yamal has been instrumental in Barcelona’s success, contributing to their triumphs in LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de España.
