In what appears to a sustained plan to eliminate the spokesman of the Conference of United Political Parties, CUPP, Ikenga Ugochinyere, his home in Akokwa, Imo State came under heavy attacks by gunmen Tuesday afternoon.
According to an SOS message by the CUPP Spokesman, made available to newsmen, his home came under attack by gunmen, wielding explosives, and assorted guns.
“SOS: My house under attack again by armed men with explosives and heavy gunfire”
It would be recalled that gunmen had attacked the CUPP Spokesman’s home a few weeks ago, leaving about five people dead, while property worth billions of Naira were destroyed.
The government of Imo State has been fingered in the series of attacks on Ugochinyere.
