A viral video circulating on TikTok reportedly shows a terrorist displaying money obtained as ransom from their victims. Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst based in Lake Chad, shared the video on his profile, expressing concern about the user’s activities. Makama noted that the account has amassed over 3000 followers, some of whom openly display firearms and wear military or police attire.
Makama criticized TikTok for allowing insurgents to freely promote their terror campaigns without any constraints. He emphasized the audacity of the situation, highlighting the brazen display of ransom money by the individual in the video.
