The demise of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, has been confirmed. This information was provided in a statement released by Olasoju Adebayo, the Chairman of the Isolo Local Council Development Area.
As per the statement, the late monarch will be laid to rest by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, adhering to Islamic customs. The statement conveyed: “I have been directed by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to officially announce the passing of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, today, April 10, 2024. He was 64. He will be interred today at 4:00 pm at his palace, located at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo, following Islamic rites. May his soul rest in peace.”
