The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Moses Thomas Sule, and his deputy, Hon Gwottaon, have stepped down from their roles. Gabriel Dawang, the representative for Pankshin North, has been chosen as the new Deputy Speaker, while Hon Timothy Dantong, representing Riyom constituency, has assumed the position of Deputy Speaker.
