A married man with 12 children was discovered dead in a brothel located on Tombia-Amossoma Road in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The deceased, believed to be from Delta State, had left his home around 8 am on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, heading to the brothel.
Details regarding the events that occurred while he was in the brothel room with the commercial sex worker he visited remain unclear. However, his lifeless body was found naked in the brothel room, with all the commercial sex workers in the establishment having fled, presumably upon realizing what had transpired.
Reports indicate that the brothel had previously been raided by security operatives and marked as a red zone. Mr. Tolumobofa Akpoebibo Jonathan, the Commander of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) in Bayelsa State, confirmed at the scene that the deceased, approximately 40 years old, was a father of 12 children.
