Buhari Govt Under ‘Fire’ As Bandits Attack Kubwa, 20 Mins From Aso Rock

Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, has berated the Nigerian Government over the reported bandits’ attack in Kubwa, Abuja.

Omokri said the attack by bandits was an indication that Nigeria has no functional Government.

In a tweet, the former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, wondered how bandits would attack a location that is 20 minutes drive from the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.

He lamented that the bandits had conducted a house-to-house search during the operation in Kubwa.

According to Omokri: “Yesterday, terrorists invaded Kubwa in Abuja and were conducting house to house searches.

“Kubwa is 20 minutes drive from Aso Rock. How can we say Nigeria has any functional government when terrorists are bold enough to operate 20 minutes from the seat of power?”

This is coming a few days after bandits attacked a Kaduna-bound train.

The bandits had detonated Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs, at a rail line between the Katari and Rinjani train station, along the Kaduna-Abuja route.
