President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the Dala Inland Dry port in Kano state.
The President was received by the Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje, the Minister of Transportation, Jaaji Sambo, and the Managing Director of the Dala inland dry-port Ahmad Rabiu.
Other dignitaries present at the event include the Executive Secretary of Nigerian Shippers ‘Council,Mr. Emmanuel Jime, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation, Magdalene Ajani and the former ES NSC, Hassan Bello.
Shortly after commissioning Dala inland Dry port, President Buhari Proceeded to Kano Grid Solar Power project at Kumbotso.
The president Alongside Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his Deputy Dr Nasir Yusif Gawuna Commissioned the Solar Power project.
The Solar Power Project would be providing power supply to some of the industries in kano which is a way forward to ensuring Kano still remains an industrial and commerce hub.
