Kelechi Iheanacho has made it to the list of nominees for Leicester City’s Goal of the Month award for October. Iheanacho earned his nomination for his impressive goal during the 3-0 victory against Preston North End on October 4.
In that match, the 27-year-old skillfully scored after receiving a pass from his international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi. Notably, experienced forwards Jamie Vardy and Aimee Palmer each have two goals in contention for the award.
The remaining nominees on the shortlist include Kiernan Dewberry-Hall, Abdul Fatawu, and Harry Winks. The winner will be determined through fan voting, which can be done on the club’s official website. Kasey McAteer was the recipient of the award in September. Voting will remain open until midnight on Sunday, November 12
