Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has expressed his admiration for Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, labeling him as his favorite Afrobeats artist. Tchouameni made this revelation in a recent interview with Kick Game UK, hosted by Craig Mitch.
When asked about his preferred Afrobeats artist, Tchouameni responded, “Davido, that’s my guy.” During the interview, he also asserted that he initiated the widely recognized goal celebration of pointing at the head, countering the suggestion that English forward Marcus Rashford was the originator.
Responding to the question of who introduced the goal celebration first, Tchouameni stated, “Me! I have to say it. Marcus, you know my bro. You know it.”
