Dr. Bawa Ahmed Abimiku, the former Commissioner of Health in Nasarawa State, has passed away.
A family source, confirming the news, disclosed that Abimiku, also known by the traditional title of Durbin Eggon, succumbed to a prolonged illness early on Tuesday, December 19, at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi.
During the administration of the late Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Akwe Doma, he played a vital role in the health sector, serving as both Commissioner and Member of the State Executive Council, SEC.
The burial ceremony for Abimiku is scheduled to occur at the Abuja Central Mosque, FCT, at 2:00 pm, following Islamic traditions.
