Fuel price hike: Singer Korede Bello rides horse, urges Nigerians to do same

In an effort to escape the soaring cost of petrol, the renowned singer Korede Bello has opted for horseback riding as a mode of transportation.Sharing a video of himself riding a horse on the highway on his Instagram page, the artist behind ‘Godwin’ explained that he chose this alternative due to the recent surge in fuel prices. He encouraged fellow Nigerians to consider a return to horse riding as a practical solution to cope with the exorbitant cost of petrol.Addressing the audience in Pidgin, Bello expressed, “I don’t know if you’ve heard. But they say fuel prices have gone up! Fuel costs have increased. If I were you, I would get one of these [horses]. Don’t give in to anyone! They say fuel is expensive, go buy a horse.”
