Unknown assailants have murdered four individuals in Nkienzha village, situated in the Miango District, Irigwe Chiefdom of Bassa local government area in Plateau State.
Reports indicate that the attackers launched their assault on the community around 11 pm on Sunday, setting a house on fire and fatally injuring the four occupants.
A statement released by Davidson Malison, the outgoing National Publicity Secretary of Irigwe Development Association (IDA), and made available to the press, noted that one person was also wounded in the attack.
The statement further condemned the renewed violence and killings as heartless and savage, urging the perpetrators to cease their destructive actions immediately.
The association called upon law enforcement agencies to swiftly apprehend and prosecute those responsible for this heinous act.
