Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has designated Faruku Muhammad as the new Auditor General for Local Government.
The appointment was formalized through a letter dated March 25, 2024, signed by the Head of the Civil Service, Safiyanu Garba Bena. This announcement was released to the press in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.
A portion of the letter states, “I am delighted to inform you that the Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, has endorsed your appointment as Auditor General for Local Government, effective from March 24, 2024.
“While extending congratulations on your new role, you are urged to demonstrate unwavering commitment, dedication, and a strong sense of duty in the execution of your responsibilities.”
