Brazilian sensation Endrick has shared details of his discussion with seasoned midfielder Luka Modric regarding his rumored transfer to Real Madrid. It’s reported that Endrick has made a firm decision to join the reigning LaLiga champions next season.
According to Endrick, Modric, who currently dons the iconic number 10 jersey at Santiago Bernabeu, has graciously offered it to him. He mentioned that the Croatian maestro suggested the possibility of him wearing either the number 9 or 10 shirt at the club.
Endrick recounted Modric’s words to him: “Number 9 and Number 10! Who knows, next season, maybe you’ll sit next to me,” as revealed to Players Tribune. He added, “That really [is] attached to my heart. Incredible. I thought: Man, if Modric believes I am worthy to wear the Number 9, then I must be worthy!”
