Ondo: Gov Aiyedatiwa signs 2024 budget into law

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State officially endorsed the state’s 2024 budget on Friday, totaling N395.257 billion. The signing took place at the Exco chamber in the governor’s office in Akure, subsequent to its approval by the State House of Assembly. Initially, Aiyedatiwa had presented a budget of N384.533 billion for the fiscal year 2024 to the Assembly. However, the approved budget underwent an increment of N10.724 billion. Aiyedatiwa, who assumed the role of Ondo State Governor on Wednesday following the confirmation of Rotimi Akeredolu’s demise, has already made significant appointments to oversee his administration.
