The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has announced the completion of another round of pension arrears payments linked to the N32,000 wage increase approved by President Bola Tinubu in 2024.

The beneficiaries span across the civil service, police, parastatals, and the Customs, Immigration, and Correctional Services pension departments.

This payment forms part of the federal government’s ongoing efforts to clear outstanding arrears from the second pension increase approved in July 2024.

PTAD noted that it had earlier paid arrears arising from the initial 20/28% increment, also approved by the President, which took effect from January 2024.
