Restructuring answer to Nigeria’s problem, start process now – Primate Ayodele tells Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, urged President Bola Tinubu to initiate the process of restructuring, citing it as the ultimate solution to Nigeria’s multitude of challenges. According to him, restructuring is paramount for Nigeria’s advancement, as it would grant each region independence and alleviate the burden on the Federal Government.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that restructuring would enable each state to utilize its resources effectively, establish state institutions conducive to exponential growth, and ultimately foster national progress. He highlighted the absence of government initiatives towards restructuring and underscored its critical importance for Nigeria’s development.

He advocated for decentralization, proposing the establishment of state police, judiciary, and banks as components of restructuring, which would bolster the nation’s economy. Although he acknowledged the lengthy process involved, he urged President Tinubu to commence the restructuring process promptly to secure a brighter future for Nigeria, emphasizing its potential to address insecurity and economic challenges.
