Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala, has identified Real Madrid and Manchester City as the primary contenders to clinch the Champions League title this season.
Both Madrid and City have successfully advanced to the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
In a conversation with Bayern correspondent Maximilian Koch, Musiala was asked about the favorites to secure the Champions League trophy this season. The German international responded, “Real Madrid and Manchester City.”
He added, “But Arsenal are also playing very good football under Arteta.”
It’s worth noting that Manchester City currently holds the Champions League title, having secured the top European honor by defeating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final, with Rodri scoring the decisive goal.
