The 21-year-old secured a hat-trick in the first half, propelling Mauricio Pochettino’s team to a strong start.
Palmer’s hat-trick was also notable for being a perfect one, marking his second consecutive three-goal performance at Stamford Bridge.
His first goal was a skillful strike, followed by a poacher-like header for the second. The third goal was a precise lob with his weaker right foot, capitalizing on a mistake by Jordan Pickford.
Palmer’s achievement marked the fastest Premier League hat-trick by a Chelsea player and extended his scoring streak to seven consecutive games at Stamford Bridge, setting another record for the Blues.
In the second half, Palmer added to his tally with a successful penalty kick, securing his fourth goal of the match.
