In detailing his chosen players, the Norwegian international expressed a desire to include several Brazilians, alongside Ronaldinho, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paolo Maldini. Haaland also emphasized the need for a goalkeeper, selecting Iker Casillas for that role.
Haaland, who played a key role in Manchester City’s achievement of a Treble last season, notably secured the second position in the 2023 Balloon d’Or power rankings, with Messi claiming the top spot.
